Thomas Devaney is a poet and educator based in Philadelphia. He is the author of Getting to Philadelphia, Hanging Loose Press (summer 2019) and You Are the Battery, Black Square Editions (fall 2019). He is producer and co-director the documentary The Bicentennial in Philadelphia(slated for 2020). Devaney’s work is featured in Best American Poetry 2019 and he is 2014 Pew Fellow. He teaches at Haverford College.
