Dinty W. Moore’s memoir Between Panic & Desire was winner of the Grub Street Nonfiction Book Prize in 2009. His other books include The Mindful Writer, The Accidental Buddhist, The Emperor’s Virtual Clothes, the writing guide Crafting The Personal Essay: A Guide for Writing and Publishing Creative Nonfiction, and the craft anthology The Rose Metal Press Guide to Writing Flash Nonfiction. Moore has published essays and stories in The Southern Review, The Georgia Review, Harper’s, The New York Times Sunday Magazine, The Philadelphia Inquirer Magazine, Gettysburg Review, Utne Reader, and Crazyhorse, among numerous other venues. He edits Brevity: The Journal of Concise Literary Nonfiction.
