Christopher Merkner is an Assistant Professor of English at the University of Colorado Denver. He is the author of the story collection The Rise & Fall of the Scandamerican Domestic (Coffee House). His stories have been anthologized in the O. Henry Prize Stories, Best American Mystery Stories, and the W.W. Norton anthology, New Micro.
