Wil S. Hylton has been featured on numerous television and radio programs, including Good Morning America, Fox & Friends, Hardball with Chris Matthews, C-SPAN, MSNBC's All In with Chris Hayes, The Diane Rehm Show, NPR Weekend Edition, and All Things Considered.
His work has appeared on the covers of The New York Times Magazine, Harper's, The New Yorker, Esquire, GQ, Rolling Stone, New York, and many other magazines. He been selected for numerous anthologies, including The Best Music Writing, Best American Political Writing, Best Business Stories, and Next Wave: America's New Generation of Great Literary Journalists.\
Hylton is a Visiting Writer at Johns Hopkins University and a member of the core faculty for the Master of Fine Arts in Creative Nonfiction at Goucher College. He has been granted the Clarkson Fellowship at the MacDowell Colony, the Curtis Harnack Residency at the Yaddo Corporation, the Ocean Science Journalism Fellowship at the Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution, and the John Bartlow Martin Award for Public Interest Journalism by the Medill School of Journalism at Northwestern University.
