Tina Nettesheim was born in Santa Monica and graduated from UCLA and Loyola Law School. In 2004 she and her husband founded Nettesheim & Nettesheim, a law firm representing abused and neglected elders. She was named one of Narrative’s Best New Writers, and her story “Everybody,” available in our archives, received a 2016 honorable mention from the _Best American Short Stories_series. Nettesheim lives in Ventura, California, with her husband and their five children.
