Timothy Denevi is the author of Hyper: A Personal History of ADHD (Simon & Schuster). He received his MFA in nonfiction from the Iowa Writers Workshop and his work has appeared in The Atlantic, Time, The Normal School, Arts & Letters, and Gulf Coast, among others. He has been awarded fellowships by the MacDowell Colony and the Virginia Center for the Creative Arts. Tim lives near Washington, DC with his wife and children and is an assistant professor in the MFA program at George Mason University.
