Sarah M. Wells is the author of five books: a memoir, American Honey (2021), two collections of devotionals, and two poetry collections, Between the Heron and the Moss (2020) and Pruning Burning Bushes (2012). She is also the author of a chapbook, Acquiesce (2009). Her essays have been listed as notable six times in the Best American Essays, and four of her essays have been nominated for the Pushcart Anthology. Sarah is a full-time freelance writer for Root & Vine News, Our Daily Bread’s column God Hears Her, and other marketing clients. She lives in Ashland, Ohio, with her husband and three children.
