Ronald Jackson writes stories, poems, and non-fiction. His work has appeared in Burningword Literary Journal, The Chattahoochee Review, Firewords Quarterly, HeartWood, Kentucky Review, North Carolina Literary Review, Prime Number Magazine, Vine Leaves Literary Journal, and other venues. Recognitions include honorable mention in the Doris Betts Fiction Prize competition in 2012; third prize in Prime Number Magazine’s 2014 flash fiction competition; inclusion in Best of Vine Leaves Literary Journal 2015; and finalist in the Lamar York Prize for Non-Fiction, given by The Chattahoochee Review.Jackson earned a B.A. in English literature from Temple University and studied English Literature and the Teaching of College Composition there at the graduate level. His career includes stints as a sports feature writer, marketing writer, and Web copywriter. Jackson is currently working on a flash fiction collection and a crime novel set in Philadelphia, his town of origin. He lives in Durham, NC.
