Ron Austin


Ron A. Austin holds a MFA from the University of Missouri St. Louis and serves as a contributing editor at River Styx. His stories have been placed in Ninth Letter, Black Warrior Review, Natural Bridge, december, The Masters Review, Gulf Stream, Midwestern Gothic, Drafthorse and other journals. He has received Pushcart Prize nominations and teaches Creative Writing at the Pierre Laclede Honors College while completing his first collection of short stories: Avery Colt Is A Snake, A Thief, A Liar. He resides in his hometown of St. Louis with his wife, Jennie, and their dog, Carmen.
