Rick Lamplugh is the author of Job Search That Works and consultant to Living Through Job Loss, both written during a 26-year career as a vocational rehabilitation counselor. He also wrote and produced a public radio series, Work In Oregon. A sermon he delivered in 2004 won first prize in a national competition sponsored by the Unitarian Universalist Men’s Network.
He is currently at work on a book-in-progress, Dig It: An Adventurous Man, a Backyard Garden, and a Struggle with Mortality. “Nature Nurture”, an excerpt from Dig It, was recently published at Phoebe, the online literary journal associated with the George Mason University MFA program.
