Philip Terman

Poet Philip Terman was born on November 4, 1957, in Cleveland, Ohio. Terman attended Ohio University for his Bachelor of Arts degree in English and then his Master of Arts degree in English. Later, he attended the Ohio State University where he earned his Ph.D. in English. From 1988-1991, Terman taught as an Adjunct Professor of English at Iowa State University. Upon leaving Iowa State University in 1991, he began teaching as an English Professor at Clarion University in Pennsylvania.
