Perry Janes is a writer and filmmaker from Metro Detroit, Michigan. A recipient of the Pushcart Prize, his written work has appeared in journals including The Indiana Review, Tupelo Quarterly, The Michigan Quarterly Review, The Normal School, Glimmer Train, Prairie Schooner, The Adroit Journal, The Cortland Review, and many others. A graduate of The University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, he is a 5-time recipient of the Hopwood Award in fiction, poetry, and screenwriting, as well as the distinguished Arthur Miller Arts Award.
