Pamela Erens’s most recent novel, Eleven Hours, was  published in 2016 by Tin House Books in the U.S. and Atlantic Books in the U.K. It appeared in Israel (Keter) in 2017. Eleven Hours is the visceral story of two women, nurse and patient—both with complicated pasts—and the fear, regret, and hope in the moments leading up to childbirth.
