Pamela Balluck earned her M.F.A. and her Ph.D. in fiction at the University of Utah. Her fiction has been anthologized and has appeared in periodicals including Western Humanities Review (as winner of the Competition for Utah Writers), Southeast Review (as finalist in The World’s Best Short Short Story Contest), Quarter After Eight (as semi-finalist, Prose Competition), Green Mountains Review (as winner of the Neil Shepard Prize), Jabberwock Review, PANK, Ocean State Review, Drunken Boat, PromptPress, Litragger, and Redux. Her nonfiction has appeared in, among others, Southeast Review (Writing Contest winner), the Prairie Schooner blog, and is listed as Notable in Best American Essays 2015.
