Natalie Lima is a Cuban and Puerto Rican writer, raised in Las Vegas, NV and Hialeah, FL. She is working on a dark humor memoir-in-essays about coming of age in a working-class, Latinx home, and then wading through the messiness of adulthood. A first-generation college graduate of Northwestern University, she is currently an MFA candidate in creative nonfiction at the University of Arizona. Her essays and fiction have been published or are forthcoming in Guernica, Brevity, Longreads, The Offing, Catapult and elsewhere. Natalie has received fellowships from PEN America Emerging Voices, the Tin House Workshops, the VONA/Voices Workshop, and the Virginia G. Piper Center for Creative Writing.
