Natalia Reyes holds a BA in Rhetoric from UC Berkeley and an MFA in English from the Iowa Writers' Workshop, where she was a Provost's Fellow and a Paul & Daisy Soros Fellow. Her work has appeared in Iowa Public Radio, Fifth Wednesday Journal, Latin American Literature Today, and Nexos. She has received scholarships or fellowships from the Napa Valley Writers' Conference, the Haas Institute for a Fair and Inclusive Society, and The Sun, among others. A member of the Macondo Writers Workshop, Reyes is at work on a collection of short stories.
