Meg Nix received her MFA in creative nonfiction at the University of Alaska Anchorage. She spends her summers in Sitka, Alaska, and the rest of the year in her hometown of Denver, Colorado. She's been was an editor at DiningOut Magazine and served as a Teach for America corps member in New Orleans, where she taught high school English and Creative Writing. Her writing has appeared or is forthcoming in The Iowa Review, South Loop Review, Fourth Genre: Explorations in Nonfiction, Shadowbox Magazine, The Denver Post, and elsewhere.
