Maria Terrone is an American poet and writer. She is the author of three poetry collections: Eye to Eye, A Secret Room in Fall (McGovern Prize, Ashland University Press) and The Bodies We Were Loaned, and a chapbook, American Gothic, Take 2. Her poetry has appeared in more than 25 anthologies. She is also the author of At Home in the New World, a work of creative nonfiction. She has been nominated six times for a Pushcart Prize and has received the Individual Artist Initiative Award from the Queens Council on the Arts.
