Lisa Nikolidakis is a graduate of Rutgers University (BA and MA) and Florida State University (PhD). Her work has appeared or is forthcoming in Brevity, Passages North, McSweeney’s Internet Tendency, The Greensboro Review, The Rumpus, [PANK], Hobart, Southern Indiana Review, Necessary Fiction, Harpur Palate, and elsewhere. Her flash fiction won first place in A Room Of Her Own’s Fall 2014 Orlando Prize and appeared in Los Angeles Review. Her essay “Family Traditions” is forthcoming in Best American Essays 2016.
