Financial Aid

We offer two grants: students age 60 and over receive a 50% tuition discount, and MFA students who are currently teaching elementary, middle school, or high school receive $60 off per credit hour (teachers must contact the MFA Program Director every quarter to complete a form to receive this grant).

Editorial opportunities

Students may serve as TLR editorial assistants as part of their MFA coursework.

Cross-genre study

LU MFA students do not declare an emphasis. Students may take coursework in a variety of genres, or they may focus their coursework in a particular genre.
