Linda Lancione has published poems or essays in Cimarron Review, CrazyHorse, The MacGuffin, Notre Dame Review, Poet Lore, and Post Road, among many other literary journals. She’s the author of three poetry chapbooks and co-author of two travel guides, Undiscovered Islands of the Mediterranean and Undiscovered Islands of the U.S. and Canadian West Coast. In 2008 she was a fellow at the Helene Wurlitzer Foundation in Taos, New Mexico. Her personal essay, “The Currency of Love” won the New Letters’ Dorothy Churchill Cappon prize for the essay, judged by David Shields, in 2010 and has recently been nominated for a Pushcart Prize.
