Laura Price Steele is a writer and editor. She has been the winner of Ploughshares's Emerging Writer Contest in nonfiction as well as the Montana Prize in Fiction. Her work has been published by or is forthcoming from Ploughshares, CutBank, The Sun, The Iowa Review, and Shenandoah, among others. She earned her MFA from University of North Carolina Wilmington. Currently, she lives in Missoula, Montana with her wife and daughter.
