Kyle Boelte is the author of The Beautiful Unseen, a book about fading memory, his brother’s suicide, and San Francisco’s fog. He was born in a small town on the high plains of Kansas and grew up near Denver, Colorado. A finalist for the Annie Dillard Award, his writing has appeared in Outside, Orion Magazine, Zyzzyva, Adventure Journal, Sierra, High Country News, and The Best American Nonrequired Reading. He lives out west.
