Kéchi Nne Nomu is a Warri-born Nigerian writer. Her writing has appeared or is forthcoming in Narrative Magazine, Poetry Northwest, Boston Review, Electric Literature, Ploughshares (blog) and elsewhere. Her essay was named a notable piece in Best American Essays 2020 and in 2019 she was named a semifinalist for the Aura Estrada Short Story Prize. Her poems are included in the Kunstenfestivaldesarts’ The Diasporic Schools project. She received an MFA in Poetry at NYU as a Stein-Brodey Fellow. She teaches English Composition and Writing in the Sciences at LIU, Brooklyn.
