Karen Hays

Karen Hays received a 2014 Rona Jaffe Foundation Writer’s Award for her nonfiction. Her work has appeared in the Iowa Review, the_Normal SchoolConjunctions, and Passages North_. Prior to essaying, Karen studied biogeochemistry at the University of Minnesota. She recently moved with her family from Minneapolis to the Monterey Peninsula.
