Kalpana Narayanan is the recipient of a 2017 Pushcart Prize, a 2016 Idea Capital grant, and fellowships from The New York Foundation for the Arts, Yaddo, and The Hambidge Center for Creative Arts and Sciences. Her work has been published in Granta, Boston Review, The Millions, and elsewhere. She was born in New Delhi, raised in Atlanta, and received her MFA in fiction from Columbia University.
