K.E. Duffin is a writer and artist whose work in the cliche-verre medium has been awarded a Massachusetts Cultural Council Artist Grant and a Berkshire Taconic Artist’s Resource Trust Grant. Cliche-verre combines aspects of painting, printmaking, and photography, returning the work of the hand to the heart of the photographic process. Part of an ongoing “emotional bestiary,” these images are about the fragility of civilization. Duffin’s poems have appeared in Agni, Bellingham Review, Harvard Review, Ploughshares, Poetry, Prairie Schooner, Raritan, The Sewanee Review, Shenandoah, Southwest Review, The Sun, Verse, and many other journals. A book, King Vulture, was published by the University of Arkansas Press.
