Jowhor Ile was born in 1980 and raised in Nigeria. Jowhor Ile’s debut novel And After Many Days was awarded the Etisalat Prize for Literature in 2016. He has also received fellowship from East Anglia University, UK and Yaddo. His short fiction and nonfiction have appeared in McSweeney’s Quarterly, Litro and other publications. Jowhor grew up in Nigeria, earned his MFA at Boston University where he also taught.
