Jordan Jacks is a writer from Texas. His fiction has appeared in The Iowa Review, The Yale Review, Electric Literature Recommended Reading, and elsewhere.
A former James C. McCreight Fellow in Fiction at The Wisconsin Institute for Creative Writing, Jacks has taught at UW-Madison, St. Albans School, and Washington University in St. Louis. He has been awarded scholarships from Bread Loaf and The Sewanee Writers' Conference, and in 2016 won the Marianne C. Russo Emerging Writer Award from the Key West Literary Seminar. More recently, he was the Writer in Residence at The James Merrill House.
A graduate of Yale University and the M.F.A. program at Washington University in St. Louis, he lives in Cleveland, Ohio, where he is finishing his first novel and a collection of short stories.
