Jennifer Morgan

Jennifer Morgan is a printmaker from St. John’s Newfoundland. She studied Fine Arts at Andrew’s University in Michigan, graduating in 1985. She later went on to study at the Canadian Union College in Alberta, Graduating with a bachelor of Education in 1995. Jennifer spent many years traveling and teaching throughout North America before returning to Newfoundland to focus her attention on art. Her intaglio etchings, monoprints and lithographic works are greatly influenced by the people, landscape and culture of Newfoundland and Labrador.

Along with her visual art, Jennifer is also known for her writing talents and has been a long-time member of the Newfoundland Writers’ Guild and The Writers Alliance of Newfoundland and Labrador. She is also a member of Visual Artists of Newfoundland and Labrador and St. Michael’s Printshop in St. John’s.

Jennifer has participated in solo and group exhibits in Canada and the United States. Her work can be found in private and public collections in Canada and abroad. She has received numerous grants from the province of Newfoundland and Labrador as well as the Canada Council for the Arts. Jennifer’s work is represented by the Red Ochre Gallery in St. John’s, Newfoundland.
