Jane McCafferty

Jane McCafferty is author of two story collections (HarperCollins, and U. of Pittsburgh Press later reissued from Carnegie Mellon Press) and two novels (HarperCollins.) Her stories, essays and poems have appeared in many literary journals, including recent stories in The Sun, Catapult, and Iowa Review. She also publishes poems and essays. Her work has received an NEA, two Pushcarts, the Drue Heinz prize, and other awards.  She's working on a novel, poems, and a third collection of stories, and teaches at Carnegie Mellon, for Madwomen at Carlow, and in the community.
