Jacqueline Doyle's flash collection The Missing Girl won the Black River Chapbook Competition at Black Lawrence Press, and was included in "Best Books of 2017" lists at Paper Darts and The Coil. She has published flash in Post Road, WigleafCRAFT, Hotel AmerikaSweet, MonkeybicycleJuked, and The Collagist, and creative nonfiction in The Gettysburg Review, Superstition Review, Catamaran Literary Reader, Southern Humanities ReviewNew Ohio Review, and Fourth Genre.  Her work has earned two Finalist listings in Best Small Fictions, seven Notable Essay citations in Best American Essays, fourteen Pushcart nominations, and numerous prizes (including first place in Midway Journal's 2017 flash contest, judged by Michael Martone). She has a Ph.D. from Cornell University, and now lives in the San Francisco Bay Area, where she is a Professor Emeritus at California State University, East Bay and the Creative Nonfiction Editor at CRAFT Literary Journal.
