Jack Bushnell

Over the past five or six years, Jack Bushnell has written four plays, now in various stages of revision: The Infinity Monologues, Seal Skin, Sailing to Antarctica, and Sketching Zorro.  The Infinity Monologues, his first, was performed in May 2014 by the BareBones Ensemble Theatre, a western Wisconsin theater troupe.  It was subsequently named a finalist in the annual one-act play competition sponsored by the Arts Club of Washington (D.C.), up against submissions from nearly every state in the U.S., as well as from several European countries, including Ireland, England, and Greece.

In addition to his plays, Jack is an award-winning essayist and children's author.  His essays and his four books for young readers, Circus of the Wolves, Sky Dancer, Farm Crossing, and Night of the White Deer, have won awards from The International Reading Association, Friends of American Writers, and Council for Wisconsin Writers, among others.

Jack lives with his wife and daughter in Eau Claire, Wisconsin.
