Bro. Yao (Hoke S. Glover III) is a poet living in the Washington Metropolitan Area. For the past ten years he has taught at Bowie State University in the Department of English and Modern Languages. During the 2016-2017 academic year he taught at Central China Normal University in Wuhan. His work has been published in African American Review, Rattle, Ploughshares, Beltway Quarterly and other journals.
