Henry Wei Leung was born in China and raised in Hawaii and California. He earned his B.A. from Stanford and his M.F.A. from Michigan. He has been the recipient of Kundiman, Soros, and Fulbright Fellowships, and is now working toward his Ph.D. at the University of Hawaii at Manoa. He is the author of Paradise Hunger, which won the 2012 Swan Scythe Press Poetry Chapbook Contest.
