Gwendolyn Knapp is the author of the memoir After A While You Just Get Used to It: A Tale of Family Clutter. Her writing has appeared in the Oxford American, The Best American Travel Writing 2017, and elsewhere. A former food editor for Eater NOLA and the Houston Press, she is currently based in Houston, where she writes about everything from opioids to hip hop moguls for Houstonia Magazine. Her reporting on Texas's oyster industry is a finalist for a 2019 National City & Regional Magazine Award.
