Erin J. Mullikin received her MFA in Creative Writing from SU and BA in English Literature from Clemson. She has won the Joyce Carol Oates award for poetry and was named one of 2014's Best New Poets. Her book reviews, short stories, and poems have been published in such journals as elsewhere, The Yoke, Tammy, Coldfront, Spork, and alice blue review. She is a founding editor for the online poetry journal, NightBlock, and for the small literary press, Midnight City Book.
Erin taught in the SUWP for a year while working on her MFA. Her research interests include medieval languages and myths, video poetry, and multimodal composition. Off campus, she likes to surf when she can be near the ocean and likes to knit during the winter.
