E.E. Hussey was born in the Philippines. She was raised in Japan and Italy and has lived in several US cities. She holds a BA in English from the University of Texas at Austin, an MA in Science Writing from Johns Hopkins University, and an MFA from the University of Alabama. She has received support from Tin House Writers’ Workshop, the Vermont Studio Center, and the Virginia G. Piper Center.
