Cynthia-Marie is a writer, editor, and educator from New England currently based in New York City. Her work has appeared in America Magazine, Bellevue Literary Review, Killing the Buddha, The Literary Review, The Los Angeles Review of Books, Narratively, The Rumpus, and Words Without Borders, among other publications. Her essay on faith, imagination, and depression was recognized on the notables list in Best American Essays 2011.
