Cris Harris is a graduate of the University of Chicago and the Iowa Writers’ Workshop. He teaches writing and experiential education in an independent school outside of Cleveland OH. A recipient of an Ohio Arts Council Individual Excellence award, his essays and poems have appeared recently in Post Road Magazine, Nowhere Magazine, Alice Blue Review, Skylark, Proximity Magazine, New South, Rogue Agent, Cleaver and The New Engagement. His essay “IIII” earned a Notable Essay designation in the Best American Essays 2019.
