An associate professor at Elon University, Cassandra Kircher is the recipient of Iowa State University’s 2009 Notes from the Field Contest. Her essays have been published in Front Range Review, Red Mountain Review, Flyway, and Interdisciplinary Studies for Literature and the Environment. She is completing a manuscript that is focused on her seven years working for the National Park Service.
