Caitlin Dwyer is a writer from Portland, Oregon.

Her journalistic writing pursues subjects in depth, resulting in complex, comprehensive features that explore the nuances of a particular issue. Based on careful observation, interviews, immersion and scholarly research, Caitlin’s articles build characters and tell amazing human stories.

Her poetry has been published in journals such as The Beloit Poetry Review, Notre Dame Review, Thrush, Portland Review, and Quiddity.

She received her B.A. in English from Pomona College, Master of Journalism degree at the University of Hong Kong and Master of Fine Arts in Creative Writing from the Rainier Writing Workshop at Pacific Lutheran University.

Caitlin has been to twenty countries on four continents and likes to practice her rusty Spanish, Italian, and Mandarin Chinese.
