Ayden LeRoux is an interdisciplinary artist, writer, critic, and educator from New England. Her work explores embodiment, eroticism, and illness, in order to complicate narratives about gender, sexuality, and family structures. Her writing has appeared in BOMB, Bookforum, Catapult, Electric Lit, Entropy, Guernica, Lit Hub, and Los Angeles Review of Books, and her piece "The Art of Stillness" was a notable essay in Best American Essays 2020. She is an active critic whose writes about art, books, film, food, and sex.
