Aurora Shimshak is a poet and educator from Wisconsin. She's worked as a high school English teacher, a public radio intern, and the managing editor of Ecotone. Her writing has appeared or is forthcoming in Spillway, New Ohio Review, Shenandoah, and Poetry Northwest. She earned an MFA in Creative Nonfiction from the University of North Carolina Wilmington and currently studies poetry at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
