Anuradha Bhowmik is a Bangladeshi-American poet and writer from South Jersey. She is an MFA candidate at Virginia Tech. Anuradha graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2015 with a B.A. in Women's & Gender Studies. She is a Pushcart nominee and has received awards from the Kimmel Harding Nelson Center for the Arts, the New York State Summer Writers Institute, the Fine Arts Work Center in Provincetown, the Indiana University Writers' Conference, the Frost Place, the Juniper Summer Writing Institute, and elsewhere. Her poetry and prose are forthcoming or have appeared in Nashville Review, Indiana Review, Zone 3, Bayou Magazine, Crab Orchard Review, Slice Magazine, Ninth Letter Online, The Normal School, Copper Nickel, and elsewhere.
