Anne McGrath was noted in the 2020 Best American Essays series, she was nominated for Pushcart Prize, and she was the recipient of fellowships from the Virginia Center for the Creative Arts and the Vermont College of Fine Arts. Her work has been published or is forthcoming in Creative Nonfiction, Fourth Genre, River Teeth, Ruminate, Entropy, Columbia Journal, The Writer's Chronicle, and other journals. Her visual essays have been featured in The Indianapolis Review, Ilanot Review, The American Journal of Poetry, and Thrush.
