Andrew Marzoni is a writer, teacher, and musician who lives in Brooklyn, New York. He received a Ph.D. in English from the University of Minnesota in 2015, and his essays and criticism have been published in The Washington Post, The Nation, The New Republic, The Baffler, Los Angeles Review of Books, The Believer, ARTnews, Art in America, The New York Observer, and The Drift, among other books and periodicals.
