Amy Holwerda

Amy Holwerda is the cofounder and nonfiction editor of Shady Side Review. Her chapbook of linked flash fictions, The Grayest Ghost, was published by Sleeping Lion Press this year. Other bits of her work, as well as her musings about international life, can be found at www.amyholwerda.com. When she isn’t reading or writing, she’s probably working in her family’s greenhouse, like so many generations before her. When people want to know more about her, she points to a cascade of petunias, or the spines of a freshly birthed fern, as if that is the answer to everything.
