Amber's work has appeared or is forthcoming in PEN America Best Debut Short Stories, Southwest Review, Kenyon Review Online, AGNI, and The Greensboro Review. She is the recipient of a PEN/Robert J. Dau Short Story Prize for Emerging Writers, the McGinnis-Ritchie Award for fiction, and a grant from the Elizabeth George Foundation. She has an MFA from the Bennington Writing Seminars.
