Agnieszka Tworek holds a B.A from The University of Chicago and a Ph.D. from Yale University. Her teaching interests include French language; nineteenth through twenty first-century literature; contemporary theater; theater across the centuries; representation of Paris in literature; and fin-de-siècle literature and culture.
Her research is in the fields of contemporary theater; the representation of prison in literature; face, body and voice in Samuel Beckett; the novels of Emile Zola; and the relationship of literature and the other arts.
